Why Suitability Matters
Portfolio management is not suitable for every client, and pretending otherwise serves no one. Before accepting a mandate, we review whether the service is appropriate for you, considering your client classification, investment objectives, risk profile, investment horizon, financial circumstances, capacity for investment loss, liquidity requirements, knowledge and experience, jurisdiction and documentation.
The website plays no part in that judgement. It will never tell you the service is suitable, that you qualify, that you hold a particular risk profile or that you will be accepted. Those conclusions come from our team, through the approved process.

Client Classification
Every client is classified under the applicable regulatory framework before the service begins. The classification considers your client type, financial information, investment knowledge and experience, the relevant regulatory criteria and your supporting documentation. Your final classification is determined by AETRAM through this review; it cannot be confirmed by selecting an option on the website.
Understanding Your Investment Objectives
The purpose of the portfolio shapes everything that follows, so it is discussed properly rather than picked from a menu. During the consultation, your objectives are explored, documented and agreed through the approved process, and they become part of the written mandate. Nothing you enter on the website is used to recommend a portfolio.
How Your Risk Profile Is Assessed
Risk Tolerance
Your willingness to accept changes in portfolio value.
Capacity for Loss
Your financial ability to experience investment loss.
Time Horizon
The expected investment period.
Liquidity Needs
Your expected need to access invested funds.
Knowledge and Experience
Your understanding of the relevant risks.
Financial Circumstances
Your relevant financial position.
*The website displays no instant results. No visitor is labelled a conservative, balanced, growth or high-risk investor online, and no strategy is approved automatically; your risk profile is produced through the human-led assessment.
What We Assess
Investment Horizon
How long the portfolio is expected to run, from shorter-term liquidity needs to long-term objectives, including expected withdrawals and planned commitments.
Financial Information
Your income, assets and liabilities, existing investments, source of wealth and funds, expected investment amount and capacity for loss, all collected securely under the Privacy Policy.
Knowledge and Experience
Your previous investment experience and your familiarity with market, volatility, liquidity and currency risk, managed portfolios, and fees.
Liquidity Requirements
When and how you expect to access funds, including emergency needs and planned commitments. Some investments may be difficult to sell quickly or may sell at an unfavourable price.
Investment Restrictions
Whether the mandate should restrict asset categories, sectors, regions, currencies, concentration or liquidity. Restrictions are reviewed, accepted and recorded in the formal mandate.

Identity & Verification
Before accepting a portfolio management client, we complete the required verification checks: identity and address verification, source-of-funds and source-of-wealth review, sanctions and screening checks, and any other applicable due diligence. All information is handled securely under the Privacy Policy.
Agreeing the Portfolio Mandate
If your application is accepted, the mandate documents everything that governs the relationship: your investment objectives, risk profile and horizon, the permitted investments and restrictions, the portfolio-management authority granted to AETRAM, reporting arrangements and review frequency, fees and charges, the termination process and the applicable disclosures. You see it all in writing before anything is invested.
Review Everything Before You Commit
Before onboarding completes, you review the portfolio-management agreement, mandate terms, portfolio risk disclosure, fees and charges, client-classification information, Privacy Policy, Complaints Handling Policy and any other applicable legal documents. Take your time with them; they exist so that nothing about the relationship is a surprise.
Application Review
We review your completed information and documents under the approved process. The outcome may be a request for additional information or documents, further discussion, approval subject to completing the remaining requirements, or a decision that we are unable to provide the service. Approval is not automatic, and we keep you informed at each stage. Review time depends on the completeness of your information, so the fastest route through onboarding is a complete first submission.
Portfolio Setup
Once approvals and documents are complete, setup follows: the approved mandate confirmed, account readiness verified, funding instructions completed, asset transfer details confirmed where applicable, and reporting and contact arrangements set. Funding and implementation begin only after the approved onboarding process is finished, never before.
What Happens After Onboarding
With the mandate active, the relationship settles into its rhythm: your portfolio managed within the mandate, statements and transaction information at the agreed intervals, fee information matching your agreement, approved performance reporting, periodic reviews and client support whenever you need it.
Keeping Information Up to Date
Tell us when things change: contact information, tax residency, financial circumstances, objectives, risk profile, horizon, liquidity requirements, source of funds or restrictions. Material changes may require a review of the mandate or suitability assessment, which is exactly how it should work; a mandate that no longer matches your life should not keep running unexamined.

That the service genuinely fits your objectives, circumstances, risk profile and capacity for loss. It is a regulatory obligation, and it is also how a portfolio ends up matching its owner.
You can begin online with the enquiry form, but the assessment itself is completed with our team. The website never assigns a profile or produces an instant result.

It is part of the due diligence every regulated firm must complete before accepting a client, and it protects the integrity of the service for everyone.
